GEO-Instruments structural health study of the Saint-Maurice railway bridge in Montreal in the fall of 2018 ahead of a major rehabilitation project.
GEO-Instruments designed and built a DL-Series acquisition system to follow the dynamic behaviour of the steel structure during all train-induced events. BDI resistive strain gauges have been strategically placed for dynamic data acquisition over several weeks. The data obtained during the project allowed engineers to have all the information required to design a rehabilitation plan.
